So you have to irradiate that zit, it would be wonderful if there were just some kind of laser that could zap it like on the commercials, but did you know there are actually ways of popping zits that are better than others?
Let me first insinuate something that is obvious but that others tend not to think of. First off what is under the human fingernail? That’s right, bugs, dead skin and a myriad of other things that tend to cause infection in an open wound. So why on God’s Green Earth would you use your fingernails to pop a zit with?
Think of it this way, doctors use fancy, and I might add expensive, tools with which to pluck the little pokers with, but you say “Hey, I don’t have a thousand dollars for that equipment.” Well then improvise. First off if you must beat the buggers with your hands, then wash your hands extremely well before going into battle with those little pustules. Get under the finger nails, scrub, scrub, and when your done do it once more. Then improvise, don’t dig the nail in on them, that can cause further dermal damage, press down around the pustule. Push down around the reddened ring around the white head. Not in and down. The contents will find their own exit and it will be up.
If you pinch at the white head you are actually pushing some of the contents deeper, and what do you think this causes? That’s right, infections that now the dermis must continue to deal with. Only now, you have an opened wound, all kinds of critters still in there, and you have to go about your busy day while the battle rages.
